Points are awarded for melds created and for "going out," which is when a player has no cards left in their hand. Points are deducted for cards left in the player's hand at the end of the round.

A meld of three or four cards is worth points depending on the rank of the cards. A meld of five or more cards is worth additional bonus points. The more cards in a meld, the higher the bonus points.

To "go out," the player must have one or two melds with at least one card from their hand and a total of 150 or more points. Going out earns additional bonus points.
